Janet JacksonJanet Jackson believes her weight struggles make her relatable. The 45-year-old self-confessed "emotional eater" has had a life-long battle with her waistline, and tipped the scales at 180lbs in 2006. Having joined the Nutrisystem diet program late last year, Janet has achieved the body she always dreamed of and hopes her journey will inspire others.

"People can relate to me because I have lived it. I truly understand what it's like to have a problem with weight loss, losing too much weight or gaining more than you desire. It's about keeping it off. We can all lose weight, but learning how to keep it off - maintaining it - is what's difficult. Nutrisystem teaches you how to do that," she said.

Janet has yet to reveal the exact amount of weight she has lost, but says she still has all the treats she desires on the food plan: "The snacks are incredible. The cookies, the cakes, the brownies - I love the chips! You don't have to deprive yourself of things that you love, and that's what's so great about Nutrisystem. I eat the some of these things and you think to yourself, 'Oh, I shouldn't be having this,' because it's so good!"

David Beckham on a mock-up cover of ElleDavid Beckham is "honored" to be the first male cover star of Elle magazine. The soccer ace - who is married to singer-turned designer Victoria Beckham - will be the first solo man to be on the face of the July issue of the prestigious British publication, which is dedicated to the London Olympic Games.

"Elle is a prestigious magazine with international recognition. I'm honored to be asked to be the first ever solo male fashion cover," he said.

Men have been featured on the front page of Elle previously but only in the company of a woman - Liam Gallagher once appeared with his wife Nicole Appleton in the January 2001 edition, and Kate Moss posed with Paul Weller in February 1997.

"David Beckham is a national hero, so we saw an opportunity to shoot a celebratory cover to support an historical and patriotic year. He is an icon and Elle is known for featuring icons on its cover. This is a first for us on the newsstand and I believe he is loved by men and women alike. Anyway, who doesn't want to see a picture of one of the world's most handsome men on the front cover of a magazine? It will be a collector's issue," said editor-in-chief Lorraine Candy, commenting on the development.

Elle MacphersonElle Macpherson takes her running shoes everywhere. The 47-year-old supermodel does at least 60 minutes exercise every day, and while she likes to vary her fitness routine, she always tries to be prepared so she can fit physical activity in wherever she is in the world.

"I do an hour every day of some kind of physical activity. I mix it up. If I'm in the mountains I ski, if I'm near water I'll swim. I might do a yoga or Spin class. I also take my running shoes and iPod with me wherever I go. Running is not only a really effective way to stay fit, it's a sort of moving meditation and a great way to explore new towns when I'm traveling."

Despite working hard to maintain a trim physique, Elle - who has sons Flynn, 14, and nine-year-old Cy with former boyfriend Arpad Busson - knows she will never look the way she did when she first began her career but insists her motivation for working out now is very different to when she was younger.

Jenny McCarthyJenny McCarthy has designed a "sexy" shoe for charity.

The blonde beauty has teamed up with ShoeDazzle.com to create a pair of high-heeled sexy black peep-toe pumps, named Insatiable, and she says she's thrilled with the final product.

"Even us MILFs want to look sexy. We might be falling over, but we'll look hot falling over. As for the name, I wanted something that just sounded kind of naughty, but still kind of fun and delicious. It's what I want my boyfriend to call me," she told People.

Profits from sales of the shoe will benefit Generation Rescue, Jenny's charity for families who have children with autism. According to Jenny - whose eight-year-old son Evan has autism - the organization provides support, guidance and medical assistance, and is active in 38 countries: "We've been growing every year, and I'm excited about it."

Raf SimonsRaf Simons has been unveiled as Christian Dior's new artistic director.

The 44-year-old Belgian will fill the vacancy left by John Galliano and present his first show at Paris Couture Week in July.

Having started his career as a furniture designer, Raf was the creative director at Jil Sander up until February, and will now be responsible for women's haute couture, ready-to-wear and accessory collections at Dior, according to WWD.

A statement by the fashion house hails Raf as "one of today's greatest talents" who will ''propel [Dior's] iconic style into the 21st century." Raf - who originally trained himself to be a menswear designer - told the publication he considers the label's founder to be "the most inspiring couturier."

"Around the globe, the name Dior symbolizes the ultimate in elegance and refinement. It is with the utmost respect for its tremendous history, its unparalleled knowledge and craftsmanship that I am joining the magnificent house of Dior," he said.

Vivienne WestwoodVivienne Westwood reads to get new ideas.

The eccentric designer - who is famed for creating the punk movement in the UK in the 1970s - was obsessed with Anatole France's The Gods Will Have Blood even though it was difficult to read, and persevered because she has taught herself to continue even when she is unsure.

"I couldn't put this book about the French Revolution down. I've given this book to people and they tell me they can't get through it. Sometimes books are difficult, but you should carry on because the more you read, the more familiar you become with other ideas. It's about being what I call a 'fit reader' - you have to push yourself and eventually you'll come to understand it."

However it is not the only novel she is interested in - she believes J. D. Salinger's The Catcher in the Rye is an important piece for all teenagers: "The American outlook is very useful and interesting because America's been such an important influence on the way we all think."

Victoria Beckham on Harper's Bazaar China

Fashion designer and former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham takes a break from behind the scenes and gets in front of the camera for Harper's Bazaar China -- as a redhead!

Mrs. David Beckham dons some dragon-inspired head pieces and a corset (photo after the jump) in the fashion magazine, looking like a far cry from your typical mother of four. While she undoubtedly looks to be in fantastic shape, I'm not sure I can agree with her when she looks like that and says that she represents the general public...

Nicki Minaj at LAX

Someone should have probably informed Nicki Minaj that too much of a good thing can be a bad thing.

The rapper -- now currently sporting blonde hair -- stepped out of LAX looking quite normal by her standards, but perhaps embracing too much animal print. While "over the top" is Minaj's trademark, was the pink bag just a bit overboard, or does it match her shade of lipstick just right?

Lauren ConradLauren Conrad wouldn't have cosmetic surgery.

The 26-year-old fashion designer - who rose to fame on TV series Laguna Beach - admits she would be unlikely to go under the knife because she prefers to look "natural."

"Personally, I have always preferred a more natural look. That is what is more attractive to me, but it's up to each person. As long as you are doing it for you, because you want to look nice and that's the result you are going for, then that's fine."

However Lauren - who has now written her first book The Fame Game - admits she does feel under pressure to always look her best because she is always in the spotlight: "There is always pressure to work out a little harder when all eyes are on you. I don't think I ever felt the pressure as much as some people, but it was definitely at the back of my mind."

Rachel ZoeRachel Zoe wants her label to become a full "lifestyle brand." The stylist and designer is aiming for her fashion empire to encompass every aspect of clothing and accessories so people can dress "head-to-toe" in her clothes.

"I'm not just launching ready-to-wear -I'm launching a lifestyle brand. I want head-to-toe Rachel Zoe. I want this to be getting dressed with my jewelry, my shoes, my bags, my gloves, I want it all."

Rachel's debut collection was unveiled in last fall, to mixed reviews, but Rachel said she knows she was never going to start at the top of the fashion chain, and is happy to work her way up. "The last thing I'm going to do when I come out with a collection is try to be Marc Jacobs. I'm not trying to make a huge statement, I'm just trying to make beautiful, wearable, tailored clothes."

Rachel also took the opportunity to continue her long running feud with former assistant Brad Goreski, which has continued for over a year and has seen them both sling very public insults at each other in the press. "All I know is I have the best team in the world. And that's the first time I've ever felt that way. And no, no - I don't think I can watch that," she said when asked whether she had seen Brad's new reality show It's A Brad, Brad World.
